While dialling (with digits visible in the display):

M > Attach Number attach a number from your contacts or recent call lists
Calling With Speed Dial
Each entry you store in your contacts list is assigned a unique speed dial number that identifies the location where the entry is stored in phone memory or on the SIM card.
Tip: To see an entry’s speed dial number, press M > Contacts, scroll to the entry, press VIEW (+).
To speed dial a contacts list entry:
