Using the Address Book

This section briefly describes basic address book operations. For more information about using the address book, see page 66.

Storing a Phone Number

Enter a phone number in the home screen, then press the STORE key to create an address book entry with that number. Fill in the other fields to complete the entry.

Select MORE to store another number (for example, a work number) under the same Name.

Recording a Voice Name

When creating an address book entry, scroll to Voice Name and press the RECORD key. Press and release the voice key and say the entry’s name (within 2 seconds). When prompted, press and release the voice key and repeat the name. Press the DONE key to store the voice name.

Note: This option is not available for entries stored on the SIM card.

Storing a Picture for Caller ID

You can store a picture for an address book entry. The picture displays when you receive calls from the entry.

Note: This option is not available for entries stored on the SIM card.

When creating an address book entry, scroll to Picture and press the CHANGE key. Press the 5-way navigation key (S)
