BacklightIn low-light conditions, th e pa ge r’s backlight automatically t urn s on
whenever a button is presse d. You can manually turn the backli ght on or off
at any time by pressing and ho ld in g K f or two seconds. The backlight
automatically turns off when the pager returns t o the Standby screen.
Receiving/Reading Personal MessagesYour pager can re ceiv e up t o 19 per s on al m essag es . When a me ss age is
received, your pager alerts accor ding to the current alert settin g (musical,
vibrate, or no message ale rt). A new message is indicated by a flashing m
symbol. When a message is selected the symbol changes to o.
Reading an Incoming Message
➊Press any button to stop the alert.
âž‹Press J to display your messa ge.
A flashing t in the right corner of the screen indicates the message is
continued on an additio nal screen(s).
➌Press J to read the next screen.
