Create a new phonebook entry:

M> Contacts > M> New > Number

Shortcut: Key in the the number using keypad keys, then press STORE.

Note: An entry stored on the SIM card stays on that SIM card. If the SIM card is replaced with another, you won’t find the same entry. An entry stored on the phone stays on the phone. If the SIM card is replaced with another, you will find the same entry.
