keypad does not respond

Question: My display is dark and the keypad does not respond. Why not?

Answer: The keypad could be automatically locked. To check this, unlock your keypad by pressing Mand *.

If you would like to disable the feature, go to M> Settings > Security > Auto Key Lock, to disable the auto keypad lock function or change the timers associated with it. If you disable this feature, you can still manually lock and unlock the keypad by pressing M and *.

no signal or no service

Question: Why can’t I make a call? I always see “no signal”.

Answer: Make sure the “Band Setting” is set

to Automatic.*

Find it: Press M> Settings > Network

>Band Selection > Automatic

*Band setting is dependent upon Region.

screen flickers while taking a picture

Question: Why does the screen flicker when I take a picture with my camera?

Answer: You might need to select an alternative frequency for the Flicker setting. For example, if the Flicker setting is currently 50Hz, switch to 60Hz, and then try again to take a picture.

Find it: Press M> Multimedia > Camera > M > Picture Setup > Flicker
