To turn off your phone, press and hold Ofor a few

seconds.

make a call

To make a call, enter a phone number and press N. To “hang up,” close the flip or press O.

To use voice commands for calling, see page 39.

answer a call

To answer a call when your phone rings and/or vibrates, just open the flip or press N. To “hang up,” close the flip or press O.

Note: Your phone cannot receive data over an EDGE network while it is playing videos or some audio files. The EDGE ,status indicator appears at the top of your display when you can receive data over an EDGE network.

store a phone number

You can store a phone number in your contacts:

Find it: s> nContacts

1Press Options, then select Create New.

2Select Phone Contact or SIM Contact.

Note: You can store new contacts in your phone’s memory or on your SIM card. Contacts on the SIM card only include a Name and Number.

3Enter a name and other details for the phone

number. To select a highlighted item, press the center key s.

4Press Done to store the number.

To edit or delete a contacts entry, see page 61.

To store an email address from the home screen, follow the steps above and enter the new contact’s name and Email information.
