caller ID

Calling line identification (caller ID) shows the phone number for an incoming call in your external and internal displays.

Your phone shows the caller’s name and picture when they’re stored in your phonebook or Incoming Call when caller ID information is not available.

You can set your phone to play a different ringer ID for an entry stored in your phonebook (see page 70).

To show or hide your phone number from the next person you call, enter the phone number and press Options > Show ID/Hide ID.

emergency calls

Your service provider programmes one or more emergency phone numbers, such as

62calls

999, that you can call under any circumstances, even when your phone is locked or the SIM card is not inserted.

Note: Emergency numbers vary by country. Your phone’s preprogrammed emergency number(s) may not work in all locations and sometimes an emergency call cannot be placed due to network, environmental or interference issues.

1Press the keypad keys to dial the emergency number.

2Press N to call the emergency number.

voicemail

Your network stores the voicemail messages you receive. To listen to your messages, call your voicemail number.
