ring toneprofiles

Each ring toneprofile uses a different set of ringtones or vibrations for incoming calls and other events. The Silent profile silences your phone until you set another ring style. The profile indicator shows at the top of the home screen:

To choose your profile:

Find it: s> w Settings > Ring Tone > Style

Shortcut: You can quickly set your ringer to Vibrate or Silent by repeatedly pressing the down volume key in the home screen (see illustration on page 52).

You can change the ringtones for incoming calls and other events. Your changes are saved in the current profile.

Note: You can’t set a ringtone for the Silent profile.
