manage memory

You can store multimedia content such as songs and photos on your phone’s internal memory or on a removable microSD memory card.

Note: If you download a copyrighted file to your phone and store it on your memory card, you can use the file only when your memory card is inserted in your phone. You cannot send, copy, or change copyrighted files.

1Remove the battery door from your phone.

2With the gold contacts

down, slide the memory card into the card slot and push the card in completely.

3Replace the battery door.

Caution: Do not remove your memory card while your phone is using it or writing files to it. To remove the memory card, lightly press the memory card once to release it from the slot, and carefully slide it out.

set memory for multimedia content

You can set whether multimedia content that you download or create with your phone’s camera is stored in phone memory or on the memory card.

1Press the center select key (s) to open the menu.

2Use the navigation key (S) to scroll to

D SETTINGS & TOOLS.

3Scroll to Memory and press the center select key (s) (OK).

4Scroll to Save Options and press the center select key (s) (OK).
