Your phone offers increased coverage by giving you the flexibility to switch between CDMA and GSM 900 or GSM 1800 networks.

Note: To use your phone with a GSM 900 or

GSM 1800 network, you must insert a SIM card (see page 11), supplied by Verizon Wireless® or a GSM 900 or GSM 1800 network service provider.

1Press the center select key (s) to open the menu.

2Use the navigation key (S) to scroll to

D SETTINGS & TOOLS.

3Scroll to Phone Settings and press the center select key (s) (OK).

4Scroll to System Select and press the center select key (s) (OK).

5Select Network Mode and press the center select key (s) (OK).

6Select one of these options and press the center select key (s) (OK):

Global Search first for a CDMA network. If no CDMA network is available, use a GSM 900 or GSM 1800 network if you have an installed SIM card for that network.

CDMA Only Use a CDMA network only.
