Preparando Café

Si la pantalla del reloj se ilumina intermitentemente, antes de continuar consulte la sección “Ajustando el Reloj”.

1.Abra la canasta giratoria hacia la izquierda. Inserte un filtro MR. COFFEE® dentro de la canasta de preparación negra, interior y removible.

2.Añada la cantidad deseada de café, consulte el Cuadro de Medición de Café. Agite ligeramente para nivelar el café.

3.Asegúrese de que el filtro de papel esté centrado antes de cerrar la canasta de preparación.

4.Llene la jarra con agua fría hasta el nivel deseado de acuerdo a las marcas en la parte lateral de la jarra. (1 taza = 5 onzas).

5.Llene la jarra con agua. Nota: Para llenar a jarra de forma fácil y precisa, consulte las marcas del tamaño de tazas localizadas en la jarra. Vierta el agua en el tanque para agua y coloque la jarra vacía sobre el plato calefactor.

6.Coloque el interruptor de la cafetera en la posición de encendido ON. Cuando el café deje de fluir, el ciclo de preparación ha concluido.

7.Saque cuidadosamente la canasta interna de preparación y deseche los granos de café y el filtro utilizado. Enjuague la canasta negra de preparación y vuelva a colocarla en su lugar. Nota: Antes de abrir la canasta giratoria, quite la jarra del plato calefactor. Esto evitará que la válvula para detener el goteo se atore en la tapa de la jarra.

8.Para preparar otra jarra de café, repita los pasos del 1 al 7.

9.Apague su cafetera cuando la jarra esté vacía.

Advertencia: Para evitar el riesgo de lesiones personales o daños a propiedades, causados por derramamientos, verifique que la jarra esté centrada debajo de la canasta de preparación durante el ciclo de preparación de café. Los granos de café en la canasta de preparación y el café preparado en la jarra están muy calientes. Tenga cuidado con ellos para evitar quemaduras. Si la canasta de preparación se desborda, o si la canasta de preparación no escurre el café durante el ciclo de preparación, no abra o toque la canasta. Desconecte la cafetera y espere a que sus contenidos se enfríen antes de tocarlos.
