This setting controls the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) designed by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG). TPMs are special-purpose integrated cir- cuits (ICs) built into a variety of platforms to enable strong user authentica- tion and machine attestation -- essential to prevent inappropriate access to confidential and sensitive information and to protect against compromised networks.

▶Execute TPM Command

TPM commands are managed through a child node of the TPM Management console named Command Management. To block or allow a TPM command is a task that local administrators can perform during the setup or re-configu- ration of a TPM-equipped computer.

▶TPM Enable/Disable Status

This setting displays the TPM enable/disable status. Read only.

▶TPM Owner Status

This setting shows the TPM ownership. Read only.
