DCA400 specifications

The Multiquip DCA400 is an impressive piece of equipment that exemplifies power and reliability, making it an ideal choice for various construction, commercial, and industrial applications. Designed to meet the demands of modern job sites, the DCA400 is a diesel-powered generator known for its high performance and versatility.

One of the standout features of the DCA400 is its robust power output. The generator is capable of delivering 400 kVA, which translates to 320 kW of continuous power. This makes it well-suited for powering construction tools, lighting, and other essential equipment on large and demanding projects. The generator is equipped with a Perkins diesel engine, which is renowned for its efficiency and durability, ensuring extended operational life and lower running costs.

The DCA400 also boasts advanced digital technology, including the Mark III generator control system. This system incorporates user-friendly digital interfaces that give operators complete control over generator functions and performance metrics. Enhanced monitoring capabilities enable users to track fuel consumption, operating hours, and maintenance schedules, allowing for optimal machine management and proactive maintenance.

Another significant characteristic of the DCA400 is its compact design. Despite its powerful output, the generator is engineered to occupy minimal space on job sites, making it easy to transport and maneuver. This is particularly beneficial in urban or tight construction environments where space is often limited.

The generator is also designed with sound reduction technology, ensuring quieter operation without sacrificing performance. This feature is especially crucial in environments where noise restrictions are in place, helping teams maintain a low noise profile while working.

Safety and reliability are key aspects of the DCA400’s design. It is equipped with multiple safety features, including automatic shutdown for low oil pressure and high coolant temperature, ensuring the engine is protected and reducing the risk of operational failures. Moreover, the heavy-duty construction ensures that it can withstand the rigors of job site conditions.

In summary, the Multiquip DCA400 generator is a powerful, efficient, and compact solution for those requiring reliable temporary power. With its strong output capacity, advanced digital control systems, sound attenuation features, and rugged design, it stands out as a leading choice for a variety of applications in the construction and industrial sectors.
