Check the fuel filter located inside the fuel tank periodically for dirt/debris build up. It is recommended to change the fuel filter every 50 tanks of fuel.

This engine is a 2-stroke gasoline engine requiring a specific fuel to oil mixture of 25:1(4%). It is recommended to use an unleaded gasoline rated at 92 octane (premium) with an oil for use on 2-stroke engines only. See Figure 13.

It is highly recommended to keep a supply of spare pre-filterson hand.Maintaining the foam pre -filter, and regular exchanges will prolong the life of the main filter element.

Every 8 hours of operation, remove the pre-air cleaner cover

and wash the foam pre-cleanerin warm fresh soapy

water. Let dry thoroughly. When dry, completely coat the filter with only an approved foam filter oil.

Every 8 hours of operation, remove the covers and and inspect the main filter element. Clean the main filter element by vigorously shaking out and dusting off with a soft brush. DO NOT air blast clean this element with compressed gas.

The main filter element should be replaced after three pre filter changes

element . Clean the supplementary filter element by

vigorously shaking out and dusting off with a soft brush. DO NOT air blast clean this element with compressed gas.

The supplementary filter element should be replaced after three pre filter changes.
