Ify ou wantto develop your own cable, note that the 6527 device uses a
100-pinfemale cable header. AMP Corporation part number 749621-9 may
be used forthe mating connector. Backshells available for use on a cable
with thisconnector include the following:
•AMP 749081-1
•AMP 749854-1
Theseb ackshells havea different thread width than the I/O connector on
the6527. A jackscrew to adapt the different thread widths is available from
National Instruments; the part number is 745444-01.
Safety InformationCautions Donot operate the 65 27 in an explosiveatmosphere or where there may be
flammable gasesor fumes.
Do not operate the 6527 in a manner not specified in the manual.
Clean the6 527 and accessoriesby brushing off light dust with a soft nonmetallic brush.
Removeother contaminants with a stiff nonmetallic brush. The unit must be completely
dry and freefrom contaminants before returning it to service.
Connections,including power-signal-to-ground and ground-to-power-signal, that exceed
anyof the maximum sign al ratings for the 6527 can damage any or all of the modules in
the same PXI or CompactPCI chassis, or PCI-bus computer.National Instruments is not
liable forany damages or injuries resulting from incorrect signal connections.
Allsignal wiring must be properly insulated. National Instru ments is not liable for damage
to equipment or injuries caused byim propers ignal wiring.
The6527 must be used in a CE-marked PXI or CompactPCI chassis, or PCI-bus computer.
