Improve focus, clarity and image stability by increasing or decreasing this setting.

If the “Auto Adjust function” do not give you a satisfactory picture setting, a fine tuning can

 

be performed manually using the “Fine” function. It improves focus, clearity and image

 

stability by increasing or decreasing this setting. For this a Moiré test pattern could be

 

used. If the Fine value is wrongly calibrated, the result would look like on the left drawing.

Gamma Selection

Allows you to manually select the brightness level of gray-scale. There are five selections.

 

 

NO CORRECTION, 2.2, S-CURVE, PROGRAMABLE and CUSTOM.

 

 

S-CURVE: This setting is recommended for Video source. Grey area looks much brighter

 

 

than NATIVE setting.

 

 

PROGRAMABLE: The brightness of Grey-scale is changed as you like by using the

 

 

application, which can be downloaded from our Web site (http://www.necmitsubishi.com).

 

 

CUSTOM: The gamma value is selected from the rate of 0.5 to 4.0 by 0.1 step.

 

 

When the COLOR PRESET is sRGB, the value is fixed at 2.2 then NOT ADJUSTABLE.

 

 

 

 

Gamma Offset

Adjusts the black level and is performed for both analog and digital signals.

 

 

BLACK LEVEL is effective only when the signal is analog.

 

 

GAMMA OFFSET digitally adjusts the black level after the signal is converted

 

 

from analog to digital.

Color Control

Six colours for the desired colour setting (sRGB and NATIVE colour presets cannot

 

 

be changed).

 

 

Colour temperature increases or decreases in each preset. Press “ ” or “ ” to select

 

 

colour. Press “+” or “-” to adjust. Press “SELECT” to customize.

 

 

R,Y,G,C,B,M,S

 

 

Increases or decreases Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Magenta and Saturation

 

 

depending upon which is selected. The change in colour will appear on screen and the

 

 

direction (increase or decrease) will be shown by the colour bars. Press “+” or “-” to adjust.

 

 

NATIVE

 

 

Original colour presented by the LCD panel that is not adjustable.
