NEC NP216 4. Convenient Features, 1Turning off the Image and Sound, 2Freezing a Picture, Enlarging a Picture

Press the AV-MUTE button to turn off the image and sound for a short period of time. Press again to restore the image and sound.

NOTE: Even though the image is turned off, the menu still remains on the screen.

Press the FREEZE button to freeze a picture. Press again to resume motion.

NOTE: The image is frozen but the original video is still playing back.

You can enlarge the picture up to four times.

NOTE: The maximum magnification may be less than four times depending on the signal or when [WIDE ZOOM] is selected for [ASPECT RATIO].

To do so:

1.Press the MAGNIFY (+) button to magnify the picture. To move the magnified image, use the ,, or button.

2.Press the  button.

The area of the magnified image will be moved

3.Press the MAGNIFY (−) button.

Each time the MAGNIFY (−) button is pressed, the image is re- duced.

NOTE:

•The image will be enlarged or reduced at the center of the screen.

•Displaying the menu will cancel the current magnification.
