5. Using On-Screen Menu
Adjusting Contrast , Brightness, Sharpness , Color and Hue
You can adjust contrast, brightness, sharpness, color and hue.
TIP: When one of Contrast, Brightne ss, Sharpness, Color or Hue is highlighted, p ressing the ENTER button will display its slide
bar for adjustment.
Contrast ................ Adjusts the intensit y of the image accordin g to the incoming signal (W hite level of the image).
Brightness .............Adjusts th e brightness level or the b lack level of the image.
Sharpness .............Contr ols the detail of the ima ge for Video (not valid for RGB).
Color ......................Increases or decrease s the color saturation l evel (not valid for RGB).
Hue ........................Varies the color level from +/- gr een to +/-blue. The red level is us ed as reference. This adjust ment is
only valid for Video and Compo nent inputs (not valid for RGB).

The settings and adjustments for [Picture] will be returned to the factor y settings with the exception of the follow-
ing; Preset numbers and [Reference] within the [Preset] screen.
The settings and adjustments under [Detail Sett ings] within the [Preset] screen that are not currently selected will
not be reset.

Selecting Aspect Rati o [Aspect Ratio]
Aspect Ratio allows you to select the best Aspect m ode to display your source image.
You can also display the Aspect Ratio window by pressing the ASPECT button on the remote c ontrol. ( page 7)
