Setting Off Timer [Off Tim er]
You can use the Off Timer feature to turn off the projector automatically at a preset t ime.
Eight preset times can be selected:Off, 0:30, 1:00, 2:00, 4:00, 8:00, 12:00 and 16:00.
Enabling or Disabling Auto Focus [Auto Focus]
This option turns on or off the Auto Focus feature. (→ page 22)
NOTE:
When the “Auto Focus” is on, the Auto Focus function works instantly under the fo llowing conditions:
When you turn on the power.
When you change the zoom.
When you reposition the projector.
When you change the projection angle.
Enabling Auto Start [Auto Start]
Turns the projector on automatically when the power cable is inserte d into an active power outlet. This eliminates
the need to always use the POWER button on the remote control or projector cab inet.
Enabling Power Management [Power Man agement]
When this option is selected you can enable the projec tor to automatically turn off (at the selected time: 5min.,
10min., 20min., 30min.) if there is no signal received by any input.
Enabling Fan Speed Mode [Fan Mod e]
This option allows you to select two modes for fan spee d: Auto mode and High speed mode.
Auto .......................The built-in fans automa tically run at a varia ble speed according to th e internal temperatur e.
High .......................The built-in fans run at a fi xed high speed.
When you wish to cool down the temperature inside the projector q uickly, select [High].
NOTE: It is recommended that you select High speed mode if you conti nue to use the projector for consecutive days.
Selecting Default Source [D efault Source Select]
You can set the projector to default to any one of its inputs each time the projector is turne d on.
Last .......................Set s the projector to defaul t to the previous or last ac tive input each time the pr ojector is turned on.
Auto .......................Searches for an active s ource in order of Computer → Video → S-Video → Computer and displays the
fi rst found source.
Computer ..............Displ ays the RGB source (COMPUTER IN ) every time the projec tor is started up.
Video .....................Displays the V ideo source (VIDEO IN) ever y time the projector is s tarted up.
S-Video .................Di splays the Video source (S-V IDEO IN) every time the proje ctor is started up.
