Make sure doors and windows are closed while the portable air conditioner is in use. Also keep curtains and blinds closed during the sunniest parts of the day while it is in operation.
Frequently clean the filters.
Once the room or area has reached your desired comfort level, be sure to reduce the unit’s temperature and ventilation settings.
