Noise Reduction

When raising sensitivity, “noise” in the form of randomly-spaced, brightly colored pix- els may appear in pictures. In this case, noise in pictures taken at slow shutter speeds will be reduced automatically when Noise reduction ( 102) is On.

Sensitivity

Unless the setting is Auto, a selected ISO value is dis- played in the monitor whenever sensitivity is raised. An icon will appear at Auto setting when the camera has automatically changed sensitivity.
