1 Open the lens cover to turn the camera
OM.
Indicators appear in the LCD panel.
2 Hold the camera steady with both hands.
Be
careful not to block the flash,
autofocus windows or lens with your fingers.
3 To ensure sharp pictures, make sure your subject is at least 0.9m (3.0 ft) away
from the camera.*
4 Look through the viewfinder
and
position the autofocus frame marks on the
main subject.
5 Lightly press the shutter release button to focus the subject.
