Special focusing situations (See Fig. P on page 39.)

The following subjects may be too difficult to focus:

a.Subjects too small to fully cover the autofocus frame mark

b.Subjects behind glass

c.Dark subjects with no reflection

d.Glossy, light-reflecting surfaces, such as shiny cars or water

e.Subjects without solid content (i.e. candle flame, fireworks, etc.) In the above cases, use focus lock.

Rewinding the film (See Figs. Q-R on page 40.)

1 At the end of the roll, the film starts rewinding automatically.

The frame counter counts backwards until the film is rewound completely.

2 Open the cartridge chamber cover and remove the film after checking that the number "0" is blinking in the LCD panel.

•You can rewind the film midway through the roll. Press the mid-roll rewind button. (Fig. R)
