Interface
CaptureNX 2’s interface was designed to put all of the important tools for enhancing a digital photograph
right at your fingertips. This section contains a brief overview of each of the main elements that make up
the CaptureNX 2 inter face, as well as information about the new workspaces, working with multiple
screens, using the image window, and working with palettes and menus.

Overview

qEditor
The main window of CaptureNX 2, the editor, is the window you see when you are
editing images. Within the editor, you can open and close images as well as access
each of the different control palettes.
wMenu Bar
The menu bar provides access to nearly all of the features and enhancements
within CaptureNX 2. Please see chapters 18 through 25 for information on the
features located within each menu.
eBrowser
CaptureNX 2’s browser enables you to browse, sort, and organize your images, as
well as to rotate or apply batch processes to multiple images simultaneo usly.
Images can be opened from the browser into the editor to provide additional
control. For more information, please see Chapter 9 “The Browser”.
