Viewing Pictures on a Computer

The supplied MV-11 COOL-STATION, UC-E10 USB cable, and PictureProject software can be used to view photographs and movies on a computer. Before pictures can be transferred (copied) to your computer, PictureProject must be installed. For more information on installing PictureProject and transferring pictures to a computer, see the documentation on the reference CD and the Quick Start Guide.

Before Connecting the Camera: Choosing a USB Option

Pictures can be copied from the camera to the computer by:

1 The center of the multi selector can not be used to transfer pictures from internal memory or from “locked” (write-protected) memory cards ( 10) when Mass Stor-

age is selected. Use the Picture Project button or unlock the memory card.

2 Do NOT select PTP. If PTP is selected when the camera is connected to a computer running Windows 2000 or Windows 98SE, the Windows hardware wizard will be dis- played. Under Windows Me, the hardware wizard will be displayed after a message stating that the hardware information database is being updated. Click Cancel to exit the wizard, and then disconnect the camera. Be sure to select Mass storage before reconnecting the camera.
