The options in this menu control the sound settings listed below.

Option	Description
	Control the sounds that alert you to camera’s
		BUTTON SOUND
	functions:
	•When the mode dial is set.
			Off
Button sound	•When the mode is changed		On
	(shooting ↔ playback).
	•When menu settings are made.		Confirm
	•When an error occurs.
	There are three shutter sounds to choose from.
		SHUTTER SOUND
	Press the multi selector up or down to highlight

Regardless of setting chosen, no sound is played when j(sports assist) is selected in assist modes (Q33), Continuous settings other than Single (Q84) are set, or DBSS is on (Q85).
