Viewing Images by Date (List by Date)

In “Clist by date mode”, images captured on the same date can be played back. In full-frame playback mode, just as with normal playback mode, shooting information can be displayed, image display can be enlarged, images can be edited, and movies can be played back.

When the d button is pressed to display the list by date menu (A 82), all images captured on the same day can be selected for viewing in a slide show, or applying print order or protection settings.

Viewing Images in List by Date Mode

1 Press the c button in playback mode, press the multi selector H or Ito select C, and press the k

button.

List by date

The list by date screen is displayed.

2 Press the multi selector Hor I to choose a date.

The camera lists up to 29 dates. If images exist for more

than 29 dates, all images saved earlier than most recent 29 dates will be combined under Others.

For information about operating the list by date screen, see “Operations in List by Date Mode” (A 82).

When the k button is pressed, the first image captured on the selected date will be displayed full frame.

Rotate the zoom control to f(h) in full-frame playback mode or while displaying shooting information to return to the shooting date selection screen.

•The number of images captured on each day is displayed on the list by date screen. 9,000 images can be displayed in list by date mode. If more than 9,000 images are saved on a memory card, “*” is displayed for the date containing the 9,001st image.

•Images captured when the camera’s date is not set are treated as images captured on January 1,
