Focusing Screens: The focusing screens available for the D2X are listed below. Type B and E screens can also be used with the D2H.

DG-2 Magnifier: The DG-2 magnifies the scene displayed in the viewfinder. Use for close-up photography, copying, telephoto lenses, and other tasks that call for added precision. DK-7 eyepiece adapter (available separately) required.

DK-14 and DK-17A Antifog Finder Eyepieces: These viewfinder eye- pieces prevent fogging in humid or cold conditions. The DK-17A is equipped with a safety lock.

DK-19 Rubber Eyepiece Cup: The DK-19 makes the image in the view- finder easier to see, preventing eye fatigue.

Diopter-Adjustment Viewfinder Lenses: To accommodate individual differences in vision, viewfinder lenses are available with diopters of –3,–2, 0, +1, and +2m–1. The DK-17C is equipped with a safety lock.

DR-5 Right-Angle Magnifying Viewing Attachment/DR-4 Right-Angle Viewing Attachment: The DR-4 and DR-5 attach to the viewfinder eyepiece at a right angle, allowing the image in the viewfinder to be viewed from above when the camera is in the horizontal shooting position. The DR-5 can also magnify the view through the viewfinder by 2 × for greater precision when framing (note that the edges of the frame will not be visible when the view is magnified).

DK-7 Eyepiece Adapter: The DK-7 is used when attaching the DG-2 Magnifier or DR-3 Right-Angle Viewing Attachment to the D2X.
