Captures the effects of candlelight and other indoor background lighting.

•As pictures are easily affected by camera shake, check the [Vibration reduction] (A86) setting and hold the camera steadily.

gBeach/snow

Captures the brightness of such subjects as snowfields, beaches, or sunlit expanses of water.

O: For those scene modes with O, use of a tripod is recommended. Turn vibration reduction (A86) off when using a tripod.

Q: For those scene modes with Q, noise reduction may be automatically applied as pictures taken are recorded; results in increased recording times.
