Insert the batteries

Open the battery-chamber cover

1 Press the battery-chamber latch (￿) and slide the cover in the direction shown (￿) until it opens (￿).

Insert the batteries

2 Insert the batteries as shown in the label at the entrance to the battery chamber, making sure that the positive (“+”) and negative (“–”) terminals are in the correct orientation.

3	Close the battery-chamber cover
	Close the cover (￿) and slide it in until it latches (￿).
