Smart Portrait Mode (Capturing Images of Smiling Faces)

Options Available in the Smart Portrait Menu

When using F smart portrait mode, the following settings can be changed.

Select smart portrait mode Md button

				Skin softening
				Smile timer
				Blink proof
	Option	Description			A
		Allows you to select the combination of image size and
	Image mode	image quality used when saving images (A69). If you			69
		change the image mode setting, the new setting is applied
Shooting
		to all shooting modes.
	Skin softening	softens skin tones by applying the skin softening function			E46
Features		Allows you to set the skin softening effect. The camera
		before saving images. You can select the amount of effect
		that is applied. The default setting is Normal.
		When On (default setting) is selected, the camera detects
	Smile timer	human faces and then automatically releases the shutter			E46
		whenever a smile is detected. Self-timer cannot be used
		with this feature.
		When On is selected, the camera automatically releases the
		shutter twice each time a picture is taken. Of the two shots,
	Blink proof	one in which the subject’s eyes are open is saved.			E47
		The flash cannot be used when On is selected.
		The default setting is Off.
