Programming Your Extension’s Name

To program your extension’s name:

1.Press idle CALL1 key.

2.Dial 800.

3.Enter the extension number to be named.

4.Enter the name following the Name Programming Chart below.

–Your name can be up to 12 digits maximum.

–Also use this procedure to program Personal Abbreviated Dial names and Display Messages.

5.Press HOLD.

6.Press SPK to hang up.

Enter Names

When entering names, use dial pad keys to enter letters. For example, press the digit 2 key once for A, twice for B, three times for C, etc.

1 = 1 @ [ ¥ ] ^ _ ` { } → ←	5 = J-L, j-l, 5

2 = A-C, a-c, 2	7 = P-S, p-s, 7
3 = D-F, a-f, 3	8 = T-V, t-v, 8
4 = G-I, g-i, 4

9	= W-Z, w-z, 9
0 = 0		! “		# $ % & ’ ( )

#= Accepts an entry (only required if two letters on the same key are needed - ex: MON). Pressing a second time adds a space.

CONF = Clear the character entry one character at a time.
