Creating an FTP Site

Go to Administrative Tools and open the Internet Information Services console. Right-click the De- fault FTP site folder and choose Properties from the menu that appears.

The “Default FTP Site Properties” dialog will be dis- played. Open “Security Accounts” and select Allow Anonymous Connections and Allow IIS to control password. Make sure the default user ID (composed of “IUSR” plus the computer name) is unchanged and leave the password field blank.

Next, open “Home Directory” and select A directory located on this com- puter. The root directory for images uploaded to the ftp server is listed in the Local Path text box; choose a folder and check Read, Write, and Log visits.

Before proceeding to the next step, click OK to close the properties dialog.
