Search for a contact

From the IM online menu, select My contacts > Search and one of the following:

Screen name—Enter the first few characters of the contact’s screen name, and select Options > Search.

User ID—Enter the first few characters of the contact’s user name, and select Options > Search.

Phone number—Enter the first few numbers of contact’s phone number, and select Options > Search.

E-mail—Enter the first few characters of the contact’s e-mail address, and select Options > Search.

Remove a contact from the contact list

1From the IM online menu, select My contacts.

2Select the contact name you want to remove; then select Remove contact. A message appears, asking if you want to remove the contact.

3Select OK.

Updating information appears, followed by a confirmation note.

Block messages from a contact

1From the IM online menu, select My contacts.

2Select the contact from whom you want to block messages; then select Block contact.

A message appears, asking if you want to block messages from the contact.

3Select OK.

Unblock messages from a contact

1From the IM online menu, select My contacts.

2Select the contact from whom you want to unblock messages; then select Unblock.

You can set an alert for a contact to notify you when the contact’s availability changes.
