•To move the cursor left or right,

press or respectively.

•To delete the character to the left, press . To clear the screen, press and hold this key.

•To switch between upper and

lower case, press quickly.

•To add a number, press and hold the desired key. To switch

between letters and numbers,

press and hold .

•To key in a letter that is under the same key as the previous one,

press or (or wait for one second) and key in the letter.

■Speed dialling

Speed dialling is an easy way to call a phone number that you have

assigned to the key to . To assign a phone number to a number key, see Speed dials in ”Phone book (Menu 01)” on page 12.

To make a call using speed dialling:

•Either: In standby mode, press a

number key ( to ) and

then (Call).

•Or: If the Speed dialling function in the Call settings menu (see page 22) is activated, press and hold a number key

( to ) in standby mode until the call is started.
