Show current presence in idle to show the current status indicator in standby

mode.

Synchronise with profiles to select whether you want to update My presence

message and My availability manually or automatically by linking them to the

currently active profile. See Profiles on page 86. You cannot link a personalised

status logo to a profile.

Connection type to select how the phone connects to the presence service

when it is switched on.

IM and my presence settings and select from following:

•Configuration. Only the configurations that support presence service are

shown. Select a service provider, Default, or Personal config. for presence

service. You may receive the presence service settings as a configuration

message, see Configuration settings service on page 18. To key in the

configuration settings manually, see Configuration settings on page 96.

•Account and select a presence service account contained in the active

configuration settings.

•User ID to key in your user ID received from the service provider.

•Password to key in the password received from the service provider.

Presence-enhanced contacts - Subscribed names

You can create a list of contacts whose presence status information you want to

be available. You can view the information only if it is allowed by your contact or

the network.
