Voice mailbox number

This number dials your voice mailbox.

See “Voice messages” in next section.

Voice messages

Voice mail is a network service that may require a subscription from your service provider.

Once everything is set up for your voice mailbox (see below), your phone will notify you when you receive a voice message.

New voice message will appear on the display along with

the icon, and you’ll hear a short beep. Your phone will display the number of voice messages if you’ve received more than one.

Setting up your voice mailbox

Before you can retrieve any voice messages, you need to store your voice mailbox number. Your voice mailbox number is 1+ your own phone number including the area code.

When you’re ready to store your voice mailbox number, press Menu 01-2-2 (Messages - Voice messages - Voice mailbox number). Then enter your voice mailbox phone number and press OK. This number can be up to 32 digits long and is used until it’s changed. So if your phone number changes, you may need to change your voice mailbox number along with it.

Greetings, passwords, and prompts

These may vary in different wireless networks. So if you need information about how to record your greeting or how to store your password, contact your service provider. You’ll also need to contact them on how to listen to voice messages once you’re connected to your voice mailbox.
