./dbora start

rm /IMS/oradata/imsdb1/*.* cd /IMS/oradata/restore
uncompress -c emptyimsdb1.tar.Z tar xvf - cd /IMS/oradata/imsdb1
cp control02.ctl /opt/app/oracle/oradata/imsdb1/control01.ctl cp control02.ctl /var/opt/oracle/imsdb1/control03.ctl
c Repeat the previous step on the secondary database server. Start up the primary database as follows:
a Login as root.
b Execute the following commands:

cd /etc/init.d
./dbora stop
c Repeat the previous step on the secondary database server. Set up a clean database as follows:
a Login as oracle.
b Execute the following commands:
On the primary database server
1 Shut down both the primary and secondary databases as follows:
a Login as root.
b Execute the following commands:
Stop all IMS applications before performing this procedure.
Note:
Restoring exported backup files
CAUTION
Only trained personnel should perform the following task.
Use the following procedure to restore other files.
