SYSTEM CONFIGURATION MENU
This menu adjusts general printer settings to suit the way you prefer to work.
ITEMS | SETTINGS | EXPLANATION |

POWER SAVE | 5 | Adjusts the idling time before the printer |
DELAY TIME | 15 | automatically switches into power saving |
| 30 | mode. In this mode power consumption is |
| 60 | reduced to a low level required to just |
| 240 | keep the printer operating and ready to |
|
| receive data. When a job is sent the |
|
| printer will require a |
|
| to 1 minute before printing can begin. |
|
|
|
CLEARABLE | ONLINE | When ONLINE, |
WARNING | JOB | as requests for a different paper size, can |
|
| be cleared by pressing the ON LINE |
|
| button. When set to JOB, they are cleared |
|
| when the print job resumes. |
MANUAL TIMEOUT | OFF | Specifies how many seconds the printer |
| 30 | will wait for paper to be fed before |
| 60 | cancelling the job. |
|
|
|
WAIT TIMEOUT | 5~90~300 | Specifies how many seconds the printer |
|
| will wait when received data pauses |
|
| before forcing a page eject. In PostScript |
|
| Emulation mode the job will be cancelled |
|
| if timeout occurs. |
TONER LOW | CONTINUE | Specifies whether the printer should |
CONTINUE | STOP | continue printing even after a low toner |
PRINTING |
| condition is detected. |

|
JAM RECOVERY | ON | Specifies whether the printer should |
| OFF | perform jam recovery after a paper jam |
|
| has occurred. If ON, the printer will |
|
| attempt to print again any pages lost due |

| to a paper jam once the jam has been |
|
| cleared. |
ERROR REPORT | ON | Sets whether an error report is printed |
| OFF | when an internal fault occurs. |
