M A I N TA I N Backup

We highly recommend backing up your music as your collections grows. This process can take up to 10 hours so we suggest doing it overnight.

USB Port

Connect the external drive to your USB port.

WARNING: The backup process will erase all data stored on your external hard drive, and replace it with the backup files. Please make sure you are using a dedicated hard drive for this process.

1.Use an external USB hard drive with at least the minimum capacity as your Olive 4/4HD.

2.Format your hard-drive in FAT32.

3.Go to Settings > System Services and select Backup.

4.When prompted, connect the external hard drive to the USB port.

5.Press Continue. Allow ample time for the transfer process. The CD Burning icon will appear until the back up is complete.

6.No other activity should take place during this process.
