Menu Setting Method

Each item of the menu list can be set by the following method.

Press and hold the FOLDER/MENU button for 1 second or longer.

Select SP or LP mode.

Microphone sensitivity setting. Select between CONF (high-sensitivity mode) or DICT (low-sensitivity mode).

Exit MENU and return to STOP mode.

Switches to the SUB MENU.

VCVA setting. Select ON (enabled) or OFF (disabled).

Locking files setting. Select ON (locked) or OFF (unlocked).

System sounds setting. Select ON (enabled) or OFF (disabled).

Recorder formatting (P.27).

Returns to the MENU.

LCD contrast adjustment. Select the level from 1 to 12.

Backlight setting. Select ON (enabled) or OFF (disabled).

Time/Date setting. Hour, minute, year, month and day (P.13).

Press the FF button or REW button.

Press the REC button.

Notes

If you press the STOP button or FOLDER/MENU button during a menu setup operation, the recorder will stop and apply the items that were set to that point.

The recorder will stop if you leave it idle for 3 minutes during a menu setup operation, when a selected item is not applied.
