The device indicator is dim or doesn’t light up at all.
Replace batteries with four new AAA alkaline batteries.
The device indicator blinks when I press a key, but home entertainment device does not respond. Make sure the remote control is aimed at your home entertainment device and is not farther than 15 feet away.
The unit does not control home entertainment devices or commands are not working properly.

The One For All SmartControl keys aren’t working with my home theater.
You must set up the One For All SmartControl remote to work with your home theater before you can use these keys. See page 9 for more information.
The audio/video help keys don’t work with my home theater.
Make sure you’re in One For All SmartControl mode (press one of the activity keys to make sure). The audio/video help keys work in One For All SmartControl mode only. If these keys still don’t work, you might need to set up One For All SmartControl (see page 9), reconfigure One For All SmartControl (see page 9), or reconfigure the way the help keys work (see page 13).
The channel, volume, or playback keys are controlling the wrong device in One For All SmartControl mode.
