This function allows you to select the language for the on- screen displays.

Disc Menu Language DVD
This function allows you to select the language used by the disc menus. Note that you can only select a language supported by the DVD video disc in question.

*Others : To select another language than the above, proceed as follows:
a)Press the ENTER button.
b)See the list on page 39 for the abbreviation of the desired language.
c)Enter the first character of the abbreviation with the 
/
buttons (see the Code field).
d)Move the cursor to the second position and use 
/ 
for entering the second character of the abbreviation.

If the DVD video disc you are playing back contains multilin- gual soundtracks, Audio Language allows you to select the desired language.

Note:
Some DVD video discs could be played back in a different language than the one you selected. This is usually due to the fact that the disc contains a preset language selection.

Note:
Some DVD video discs may not include the desired language. In that case, the DVD Changer automatically switches to the disc’s default disc menu language.
