The remote controller comes with the Onkyo A-905X amplifier.

5 Press the STANDBY/ON button on the Amplifier A-905X to set the STANDBY mode.

1 Press the TIMER button repeatedly until “REC” appears on the display, then press the MEMORY button.

Notes

The clock of the tuner must be set correctly before programming the timer.

Make sure that the specified source component is connected to the amplifier, and that the CD, MD, or cassette tape has been inserted into the appropriate component.

After setting the timer, be sure to set the amplifier in STANDBY mode. If the amplifier is not in STANDBY mode, the timer will not work.

Make sure that the POWER switch on the A- 905X Amplifier is set to ON.

2 Press the PRESET Ã or ¨ button to select the day of the week when you wish to start recording, then press the MEMORY button.

Programming to record at a specified time

REC mode of the Timer function enables you to record a specified source at a specified time.

Notes

To perform timer recording to a tape, you need to use a cassette tape deck that features the mark, such as the K-505X.

To perform timer recording to a mini disc, you need to use an MD recorder that features the

26 mark, such as the MD-105X.

You can select “NEXT” instead of the day of the week. If you do so, recording will start at the next occurrence of the indicated time.
