Automatic Search Music System (ASMS)

You can use the automatic search music system to skip forward or backward through tracks on a CD or in a pro- grammed sequence.

During play, press SKIP Manual backgroundManual backgroundto skip to the beginning of the next track.

During play, press SKIP Manual backgroundManual background during play to skip to the beginning of the current track.

Press SKIP Manual backgroundManual backgroundor Manual backgroundManual background additional times to skip forward or backward through addi- tional tracks.

Notes:

If you press SKIP Manual backgroundManual background while the first track is playing, the first track replays.

Pressing SKIP Manual backgroundManual backgroundwhile the last track is playing has no effect.

PROGRAMMED PLAY

You can program up to 21 tracks on a CD to play in any sequence.

1.Load a CD into the CD compart- ment and close the door. The dis- play shows the CD’s total number of tracks and total playing time.

2.Press PROGRAM. MEMORY and 00 P:01 (the first memory location) appears.

3.Press SKIP Manual backgroundManual backgroundor Manual backgroundManual background to find the track you want to program into mem- ory location 1.

4.Press PROGRAM again to program the track. The next memory location appears.

5.Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for each track you want to program.

Notes:

If you program more than 21 tracks, you replace the first tracks programmed with the new ones.
