3.Repeatedly press MIN until the display shows the correct minute. To rapidly advance the minutes, hold down MIN.

4.When the display shows the correct time, either press MEMORY/CLOCK or wait until the display stops flashing.

CONNECTING HEADPHONES OR AMPLIFIED SPEAKERS

To listen to the SCP-103, you need a pair of headphones or amplified speakers with a 1/8-inch (3.5-mm) plug. Your local RadioShack store carries a wide selection of head- phones and amplified speakers.

Insert the headphones' or speakers' 1/8-inch plug into the SCP-103's jack.

Listening Safely

To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines when you use headphones.

•Set the volume to the lowest setting before you begin lis- tening. After you begin listening, adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
