USING THE CASSETTE PLAYER

PLAYING A CASSETTE TAPE

Important: Make sure that you have connected head- phones or speakers to the SCP-85. See “Using Head- phones or Speakers” on Page 6.

1.Push open the cassette compartment’s cover, then push open the cassette compartment’s door.

2.Take up any slack in the cassette tape by turning its hub with your finger or a pencil. If you do not remove excess slack, the tape might become tangled in the play mechanism. Avoid touching the tape.

Note: We recommend you do not use C-120 cas- sette tapes. They are very thin and can easily become tangled in the tape-handling parts.
