To remove the belt clip from the SCP-87, push in on
PUSH RELEASE, slide the belt clip down, then lift it
off.

RANGES AND STEPS
The SCP-87 is set to tune frequencies in steps (in-
crem ents) o f 10 kHz ( AM ) and 0.2 MHz (FM) as u sed
in the United States.
In Europe and s om e other countries, frequency rang-
es and steps are not the same as those in th e United
States. For example:
In North and South America:
AM: 530–1,710 kHz (10 kHz increment)
FM: 87.5–108.1 MHz (0. 2 MHz incr em ent)
Note: Act ual FM br oadcast freque ncies ar e assi gned
between 88 and 108 MH z.
In Europe and ot her count ri es:
AM: 531–1,602 kHz (9 kHz increment)
FM: 87.5–108 MHz (0.05 MHz increment)
In Japan:
AM: 531–1,629 kHz (9 kHz increment)
FM: 76–108 MHz (0.1 MHz increment)
