Safety Warnings

WARNING: AVOID CONTACT WITH ROTATING TRIMMER LINE. CONTACT WITH MOVING TRIMMER LINE MAY CAUSE SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY.

WARNING: Only use with handle and guard properly assembled to trimmer/edger. The use of the trimmer/edger without the proper guard or handle provided may result in serious personal injury.

Caution: Avoid contact with the rotating trimmer head. Contact with moving parts can cause injury.

Caution: Do not grasp the line cutting blade when picking up or holding the trimmer/edger.

Other than the wear parts identified in this manual, the trimmer/edger has no user serviceable parts. Service and repair work requires special training. See “Service and support information” for contact information.

STORAGE, Transporting, and disposal

Storing the trimmer/edger

Remove the battery pack from the trimmer/edger.

Clean the trimmer/edger thoroughly.

Store in a dry place.

Keep out of reach of children or pets.

Storing the battery pack

When storing the battery pack longer than nine months, follow these guidelines:

Remove the battery pack from the trimmer/edger or charger.

Store in a cool, dry place.

Keep out of reach of children or pets.

To prolong battery life, never store battery packs in a completely discharged condition. (Fig. 3).

Store at a temperature between -4°F to 86°F (-20°C and 30°C).
