Orion 2002 Fuse Size: (1) 25 AMP

Orion 3002 Fuse Size: (1) 30 AMP

Minimum 8 AWG power and ground cable is recommended for acceptable per- formance.

Fuse power wire prior to wire passing through panels or near sharp edges and less than 18" from battery.

Ground amplifier to a good chassis ground as close as possible to the amplifier.

Add extra ground wire (minimum 8 AWG) between the negative terminal of the battery and the chassis.

NOTE: The addition of a ground wire from the battery to the chassis of the vehicle improves the ability of the battery to supply power to the amplifier. This is recom- mended because the current delivery of the factory electrical system was designed only to accommodate electronics supplied by the auto manufacturer.

Speaker Connections

Two Channel Stereo Configuration

Lowest recommended impedance is 2W stereo.

Stereo input should be used for this configuration.

Outputs can be configured for high-pass, low-pass, or full range operation.

Orion Car Audio is renowned for its dedication to delivering high-performance audio systems for automotive enthusiasts. Among their standout products are the Orion Car Audio 3002 and 2002 amplifiers, which are both appreciated for their excellent sound quality and robust build.

The Orion 3002 is a powerful 2-channel amplifier designed to drive high-performance speakers with ease. With an output power of 300 watts RMS, it is capable of delivering dynamic sound reproduction that can elevate any listening experience. One of its notable features is its high-and low-pass filters, which allow users to tailor the audio output to match their specific preferences and vehicle acoustics. Additionally, the Orion 3002 comes equipped with a variable gain control, enabling users to adjust the input sensitivity to maximize sound fidelity without distortion.

In contrast, the Orion 2002, while slightly less powerful at 200 watts RMS, shares many of the same technologies that make the 3002 a favorite among car audio enthusiasts. Its compact design makes it easy to install in a variety of vehicle types, ensuring that quality sound is accessible to all. The 2002 also includes a temperature protection circuit to prevent overheating, which extends the life of the amplifier and ensures consistent performance even during prolonged use.

Both models are built with durability in mind, featuring rugged aluminum extruded heatsinks that dissipate heat efficiently and maintain optimal performance. This durability is paired with a sleek aesthetic that complements modern vehicle interiors.

Another significant characteristic of both the Orion 3002 and 2002 is their compatibility with a range of subwoofers.
